The Italian restaurant fused with a night club concept was simply an amazing experience. The Gnocchi was delicious the Penne all’arrabbiata was zesty. The waiters are nice and the vibe is energetic. The entire restaurant transforming itself into the night club Oliva was fascinating and the music turned out to be really good at most times.

I was going to write a pretty good review but the further the night went less stars I wanted to reward. Firstly when we arrived no one asked what we wanted to drink. It took a while. When ordering food and drinks arrived we had to pour the wine ourselves and we did not get the water we asked for. Food came weirdly quick. But was very good!! Not 5/5 but 4/5. I missed any type of Parmesan or something but the food was simply good. There was probably four waiters working. They were chilling and hanging out mostly. No one came to clear our plates for maybe 30 minutes after finishing which is way too long. The bathrooms were disgusting. So gross not a single on felt clean and probably hasn’t been for a few days. Prices were also much higher than on their online example menu and it just felt a little bit like a scam.

The concept is cool, the execution is too bad. While this restaurant is in a club, it unfortunately means as well, no daylight and no fresh air. The entrance isn’t too obvious it looks like you walk into the back door of the building, while you enter you must wait 10-15 minutes before someone is there to help, while this place is overstaffed and not understaffed. The space between the tables is tops 20cm, which means you must walk on your toes to move all the way to your table, so goes for the staff. One and a half hours after opening there’s 1 waiter running around downstairs, while there is 2 waiters upstairs In their hoodies still doing opening chores, while the place opens at 18:00. We’re placed at camping tables covered with dirty table linen, there’s cheap napkin stack on the table with and empty pepper mill and pre-filled 1.5L cans with tap water, staff isn’t paying attention to you but more to themselves. The interaction is pure transactional and after being open for 2 hours suddenly there’s a menu swap? The hygiene of this place is what you would expect from a club after it closed from a party. While the young boy asked me how my night was and I explained that there’s leadership missing to give them directions and have an eye on quality, he asked me whether I wanted to add a tip or not. This specific Spaghetteria can’t be compared to the others.
