The three stars here is mostly for the ambiance. The restaurant is nicely designed and elegant. As for the food, well if you really like Lebanese food, and also like pomegranate then this is heaven for you. I guess adding pomegranate to Lebanese food makes it Armenian. Overall the food was average if I am being nice. Very pricey also. But if you want to try something a little different and have the money to spend it may be for you. Otherwise you really are not missing much food or taste wise.

Very disappointing. The decor and ambiance is ok, it’s spacious and peaceful but 1) i fell very sick of food poisoning immediately after eating there. For the price and reputation that is unacceptable 2) it was incredibly expensive; we paid around SAR 1,200 for 4 people for a variety of small bites each 3) the food was barely ok; I’ve eaten in many Armanian restaurants around the world (including restaurants managed by Armanian families and cooks) This was not authentic at all and the flavors were very basic and bland. The signature dishes were a failure- the meat in the manti didn’t taste good and the spices were off, the Kebeh bel Karaz (kebeh with cherry) was awful, the meat was like rubber and the cherry sauce was clearly from a canned cherry sauce with no spices or flavor (I make it a thousand times better at home). The only thing really tasty was the beetroot salad and the fatoush. And as some reviewers said, it was basically Lebanese cuisine with pomegranate added. I rarely complain but this was really a disappointment. And considering all the other negative reviews I’ve seen on Lusin, I would highly recommend that the management take this seriously and revisit the kitchen; focus more on the quality of their raw products, get a better quality chef (with Armanian experience) lower prices and change the menu
